FADE IN:
INTERIOR. CSM - LIVE
Stay with the signal. Follow the voices. Listen NOW for what is happening between the sounds, [CLICK PLAY]. Spatial Radio is LIVE.
EXTERIOR. KING'S CROSS – YESTERDAY
In the wet pavement, beneath the iron, between passing trains and the quiet movement of the canal, [Sound of the city begins to play: nature, conversations, phone call, report, performance, drama, laughter...] Voices from different corners of King’s Cross enter the broadcast: An ACCUMULATION of fragments echoing, drifting, disappearing...
CUT TO:
Through the ears, the sounds begin to form into a place, an image, an animation in front of the eyes. Rain becomes a street. Footsteps suggest a corridor. Laughter opens a room. A distant announcement becomes a journey. A voice becomes someone somewhere. The broadcast becomes an imagined space, a MONTAGED MEMORY assembled in the mind. One sound connects to another. One image interrupts the next. What is heard becomes what is seen, remembered, reconstructed.
Suddenly -- Yesterday’s Weather passed,
VOICES and SILENCES remain, overlap--
FADE OUT.
